General Terms and Conditions of HYDROMAN Vltava Swim 2026
By completing the registration for HYDROMAN Vltava Swim 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the “swimming race”) and paying the registration fee, you agree to the general terms and conditions set out in this document.
Organizer
The organizer of the HYDROMAN Vltava Swim 2026 races is V Aquatics Swimming Academy z.s., ID No. (IČO): 11718153, with its registered office at Vaníčkova 100/6, Břevnov, Prague 6, 169 00.
Participation Conditions
Only registered persons who have paid the registration fee may participate in the swimming races. By registering for the swimming races, each participant declares that they are medically fit to participate.Registration
Registration for the swimming races takes place exclusively via the online form on the MyResult platform. By submitting a binding registration through this form, the registering participant (or their legal guardian in the case of a minor) acquires a binding right to participate in the swimming race under the conditions specified in this document. By concluding the registration, the participant confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.Timing Chip
The timing chip must be placed on the ankle (left or right), visibly attached with the designated strap, and must not be covered by any material (including a wetsuit or tape). Swimmers participating in the recreational course are not timed.Payment Terms
The registration fee is payable based on the details provided in the registration form. Payment is made online via the ComGate Payments, a.s. payment gateway (hereinafter referred to as „ComGate“). The currency for all payments is strictly CZK. The current terms and tariff of ComGate apply to the execution of the payment. By completing the payment, the registration is considered paid, and the participant acquires the full right to participate in the swimming races.Participant’s Declaration
Each participant:- Is responsible for ensuring that their health condition allows them to participate in the swimming race
- Is obliged to report any health indispositions or changes in medical fitness to the organizer without delay
- Is obliged to provide informed consent regarding GDPR
- Is obliged to arrive at the workshops/briefings on time
- Agrees to the Hydroman Rules
- Agrees to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the swimming races and marketing
Organizer’s Rights
The organizer reserves the right to:- Cancel the swimming race due to serious reasons (e.g., extreme weather) without refunds
- Change the program of the swimming race without prior notice
- Immediately disqualify a participant from the swimming race for a gross violation of the rules (e.g., destroying or damaging the organizer’s property or exhibiting inappropriate/abusive behavior towards other participants or the operator)
- Use photographs and videos from the event for promotional purposes (without entitlement to remuneration)
Registration Kit
Each participant must pick up their registration kit on the day of the race at the designated time and place. Upon pickup, it is necessary to present a starting number or an ID.Results
The ranking is determined by the real time at the finish line via the MyResult chip timing system. The results are subsequently published on the event’s website.Cancellation Policy
Withdrawal from the contract (refund of the fee) is not possible in accordance with Section 1837(j) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code.HYDROMAN Rules
Obligation to Follow Instructions
Every swimmer is obliged to unconditionally respect and immediately follow all instructions from the organizer, referees, volunteers, members of the integrated rescue system (IZS), and medical staff.Safety Measures
The swimmer must follow all safety rules established for the course of the race. There is a strict prohibition on the use of:- Fins and snorkels of any type.
- All jewellery, including bracelets, earrings, and necklaces.
- Any electronic devices, including watches, music players, and cameras.
- Other items that could endanger the safety of the swimmer or other participants.
